Contrast setting

I just hooked up the 64128L FC BW to a breadboard to test it as a replacement for a different dsiplay we're using. However, I can't find where to set the contrast. Can you point me in the right direction?

Right now, if I look directly at the display, I can just make out the text I'm writing to the screen. If I move my head 5 degrees in either direction, it disappears until I get to about 80 degrees from 12 or 6 o'clock (almost horizontal with the bottom) in which case I can see the text again.

I've used other displays with a V0 pin to adjust contrast, but the datasheet shows V0, V1, V2, V3 and V4 and calls out V0 to be used for contrast control. However, another part of the datasheet seems to indicate Vout should be used for contrast control with a voltage of 9V. What should I be trying to control and how?

Thanks!

I figured this out. I had been working with a character display module with a hardware adjustable contrast setting. Found this is all done through software and have it working beautifully now.

Thanks!
